PIN DRUM FEEDER

Working Principle

‍

Raw material is feed to PDF through glass hopper via cross screw conveyor. The Pin Feeder is provided to regulate the flow of raw material into Equalising screw conveyor. It consists of two rollers rotating against each other. The rollers are equipped with Pin’s which distribute the raw material in a controlled flow. The Pin Feeder is driven by a variable speed motor via a reduction Gear Box and VFD. After passing through the pin feeder, loosened Raw material falls into the Equalising screw conveyor.
