Operating Principles

Parason Sand Separator is designed with the mechanism for draining heavy rejects with high volume flows. The Sand Separator is focused on fast and efficient removal of very large debris from the sludge.

The sludge coming from the junk traps is fed into the vat. Heavy rejects are separated from the water by a sturdy, shaftless screw. The ample vat space in combination with a shaftless screw reduces the blockages caused by bulky material.
