Most Productive Pulp Machine Cost
Pulp machine is differentiated into types according to the uses and at efficiency cost.
Some pulp machines are capable of stock preparation in large amounts like 100-150 kgs, whereas some machines are built for a lesser capacity of stock handling like 25-30 Kgs. Parason pulping machines are categorized into the High Consistency Pulper, Dilution Pulper, Off-Center Pulper, and D Type Pulper.
The High Consistency Pulper rotates with an average rotation of 980 per minute and ranges from the capacity of 4 m3 to 50m3. This type of pulper uses a power supply of 90 kW up to 800 kW. The High Consistency Pulper is considered as a piece of versatile equipment for Newsprint mills, Writing & printing mills, Board mills, and kraft mills. It works on the Parason casted high consistency rotor is advantageous as it is made out of strong stainless steel construction.
The Dilution Pulper models range from a capacity of 0.5m3 up to 6 m3 and intake a power supply of 25 kW up to 132 kW. The motor rotations of Dilution Pulper are 1470 per minute. Parason Eccentric or Off-Center Pulpers are categorized by their capacity of 16m3 up to 70m3 with a TPD between 90 to 600. They operate at motor rotations of 980 per minute and use a power supply of 150 kW up to 600 kW.
Parason D Type Pulpers are suitable for continuous operations and operate with an efficiency of 4%-6%. They operate with motor rotations of 980 per minute. Their capacity ranges between 6 m3 and 70 m3. They utilize the power of 75 kW up to 600 kW. The other equipment required in the pulping process provided by Parason is – Fiber Saver, Ragger, Rope Cutter, Wet Strength Pulverizer, Trommel Screen, and the Dehydrating Screw Conveyor.
The Fiber Saver used for removal of large foreign contaminants is available with a capacity of 0.5 m3 up to 6 m3 and required power supply of 25 kW up to 132 kW. The Ragger Rope used for removal of spinning contaminants such as wires, rags, strings, plastics, etc. works at a speed of 0 to 19 rotations per minute with the geared motor of 1.1 or 2.2. The Rope Cutter is an integral part of the Ragger and is used for cutting the rope at regular intervals. The Wet Strength Pulverizer can pulverize the sack kraft, insulation paper, beer boxes, security paper, textile core boxes, currency boxes, etc. It is used for scissoring, agitation, and pumping. There are 3 models in between 15 to 50 TPD and uses the power of 100 kW up to 315 kW.
The Trommel Screen is used to lessen the contaminant load on Fiber Saver (PFS) by rejecting the light through the screen. It works with 8 to 40 TPD and utilizes power between 3.7 to 11 kW. The Dehydrating Screw Conveyor is used for solid and liquid separation. It is used for separation of contaminants and water from Pulper reject discharge and separation of Sand and water from High-Density Cleaner and Centricleaner Rejects.
Pulp Machine or Pulper is not only used to extract pulp out of waste papers. Pulp machines can also be used in generating pulp out of fruits, vegetables, etc. The pulp can be produced out of wood, grass, bagasse, bamboo, wheat straws, jut, cotton, reed, etc. The pulp making process involves cooking, washing, and bleaching of the raw materials. In a paper mill, the pulp is generated out of old, used and waste paper material, fabrics, textiles, wood, timber, fibers, etc. to produce new paper. This is called as recycling of paper.
The main operations in pulp making process are pulp cooking, washing, and bleaching. The main equipment used in the pulp cooking process is Pulp Digester, Blow Tank, and Heat Exchanger. The digester is a huge container or vessel where the raw material undergoes different chemical operations to make it appropriate to be transformed into paper. A regular or average digester costs around $50,000 – $100,000 or more depending on the size and quality. The costing is calculated in accordance with the functionality and capacity. It can be manufactured by analyzing and understanding the customer’s requirements and needs of paper manufacturing.
Blow Tanks
Blow Tanks are used as water storage tanks to provide water during the pulp making process. Blow Tanks are also used to store chemicals that need to be added in the pulp making. Normally, cost range between $10,000 – $10,00,000.
Heat Exchanger
Heat Exchanger is a tube-like machine used to adjust and maintain the required temperature in the pulping process. A heat exchanger requires a small area to set up and serves an important purpose in pulp making. The cost of a heat exchanger lies between $1,000 – $10,000.
In the screening process, equipment like Inner-flow pressure screen, Outward-flow pressure screen, Medium consistency screen, Fiber classifying screen, Black liquor pressure filter, and Pressure knotter are utilized. The screening equipment costs are based on their size. There are medium as well as high consistency screens available in the industry. Screening is an important process to improve pulp quality. The cost of the screening machine depends on its built-up material, work efficiency, and power utilization. The average cost is around $10,000.
The types of equipment used for washing or dewatering of the pulp are Vacuum Drum Washer, Twin Roll Press, Single Screw Press, Disc Filter, Gravity Disc Thickener, etc. The washing equipment price ranges from 1$0,000 to $20,000.
Bleaching is done to remove the inks and stains from the pulp. It is done using the deinking system. Double Roller Mixer and Medium Consistency Mixer are its components. This process is also called the deinking process. The deinking machine cost is around $50,000. However, high-efficiency bleaching machines cost $4,00,000.
Studying a case study from India, it has been observed that setting up an advanced and large-scale chemical or mechanical pulp mill has an annual production of around 1.4 million tons, and will cost about $2.5 billion. The cost per year will range between $1500 – $2000 per ton per year. The globalization of the paper industry has generated the need for producing cost-efficient machinery with high efficiencies.
The pulp and paper industry in the U.S. alone produces about 78 million tons of paper every year worth a net value of U.S. $187 billion. This employs 373,400 people in the U.S. with an annual payroll of over $30 billion.
So far we are well educated with the knowledge of how paper is produced out of the pulp acquired from trees, wood, grass, wastes paper, and many other substances. The pulp is extracted out of the mixture of the above substances and later turned into paper. This pulp in the pulping machine. And when it comes to the topic of pulp machines, Parason is a powerful name you have heard of!
Pulping Equipment Price
We are a leading manufacturer of the pulp machines in the paper industry. There are different types of pulp machines manufactured by Parason. The pulp machine price is not considered as a whole machine. It is based on the types of equipment that the pulping process involves. Each equipment costs differently according to its types and efficiencies.
Pulp Machine Cost Variation
Different types of pulp machines are required for producing different types of pulps. Several machines are required in the manufacturing of pulp. Starting with the basic, Pulper is a container in which the pulp is prepared. Pulpers are divided into three main categories – High consistency, Medium consistency, and Low consistency. One needs to select the equipment considering their production requirements. Some pulpers need to be connected with other pulpers for producing a good quality of pulp. For example, the dilution pulper. Some of the other types of pulpers are the off-center pulper, D-type pulper, fiber saver that is connected with the low consistency pulper, ragger, rope cutter, wet strength pulverizer, trommel screen, and dehydrating screw conveyor.
The other machines required for the manufacturing of the pulp are
Cleaners – for cleaning of the pulp; further divided into high density, medium density, centricleaner, and medium consistency centricleaner.
Screeners – for the screening of the pulp to separate contaminants; Further divided into – Turbo separator, Medium Consistency Screen, Horizontal Pressure Screen, Reject Screen, etc.
Thickeners – for filtration of the stock; categories – Folded thickener, Disc thickener.
Refiners – it comes with refiner plates for refining; categories – Twin disc refiner, Confiner, Trapmagni.
