As one of India’s leading paper mill machinery manufacturers, Parason Machinery played an active part in both the exhibition and the conferences at Paperex 2023. Here is a quick glimpse into our participation in the 4-day event, as well as some key takeaways.

Day 1

This year, Paperex 2023 was hosted from December 6th to December 9th at the India Expo Center, Greater Noida. The event featured more than 660 stalls that featured brands and businesses from over 24 countries, making it a truly international event.

The first day kicked off with a grand inauguration, and Parason Machinery were at stall D-04. Day 1 saw us unveiling our groundbreaking sustainable packaging solution.

Day 2

Day 2 was the most exciting day for Parason Machinery. Dr. Shekhar Desarda, Chairman and Managing Director of Parason, served as the guest of honor. His insights into the Indian paper and pulp industry set the tone for the day.

Mr. Madhure Desarda, Director of Parason, delivered a compelling presentation on the environmental benefits of molded fiber as a sustainable alternative to plastic. The speech garnered the attention of many notable attendees, including Union Minister Shri Raosaheb Patil Danve.

Day 2 also marked the recognition of our Vice President, Mr. Raj Kumar, who received the award for the Best Technical Paper Award for his presentation on “From Trash to Treasure”. Focused on leveraging Effluent Treatment Plants for the production of Bio CNG, the speech outlined a paradigm shift.

Mr. Kumar emphasized that ETPs, traditionally responsible for maintaining water parameters, can now be lucrative revenue sources. He highlighted the swift return on investment, with the Bio CNG system proving profitable within 2-3 years of installation.

The presentation, well-received by the audience, earned Mr. Kumar a cash prize of Rs. 75,000.

Underlining our commitment to environmental responsibility and financial viability, Mr. Kumar emphasized that our solutions are crafted not only to reduce environmental footprints but also to maximize returns on capital.

The Bio CNG gas produced from ETPs can be used as a vehicle fuel, contributing to the reduction of air pollution—a significant step forward in our quest for sustainable and profitable solutions.

But that’s not all. Our stall at Paperex 2023 saw the maximum number of visitors and positive conversations on day 2.

In fact, we even signed some important deals with industry leaders from the world of paper and pulp before the day was done.

Day 3

The excitement at our stall at Paperex 2023, as well as the accolades we received from our peers, continued into day 3, with Parason Machinery winning the Award for Best Machinery Display for 2023.

Our stall was abuzz with visitors eager to explore the cutting-edge machinery on showcase. Among the highlights was our impressive range of machinery, including refiners, screen baskets, refiner plates, and molded fiber machinery, to name a few.

The award for the Best Machinery Display is a significant milestone for Parason Machinery. Emerging victorious among 34 industry veterans is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in the field.

This recognition serves as a source of inspiration, proving that our strategic plan of action is steering us in the right direction and delivering tangible benefits to the industry. It reinforces our dedication to providing the best solutions and positions us as a leader in the machinery sector.

Day 4

Day 4 saw Paperex 2023 conclude on a high note. Overall, Parason Machinery had a great experience at the event. We received well-deserved praise and widespread acclaim from our peers and other industry leaders. We had some great conversations with organizations from the paper and pulp industry worldwide and even inked some exciting new deals.
